Overview
Two Configurations
InnoJection is an intercell precision chemical dosing technology for managing phosphorus in wastewater lagoons. The technology relies on the gravity flow of lagoon wastewater between cells and offers an alternative solution to traditional in-cell chemical injection — eliminating the need for boats, sprinklers, or extensive mixing equipment.
Coagulant is precision-dosed into the intercell pipeline, mixed by static inline mixers, and flows into the secondary lagoon cell where phosphorus precipitates and settles. The system is fully automated, solar-powered, and requires minimal operator involvement.
System Design
Two Dewatering Options
Batch Process
Seasonal Treatment
Designed for lagoons requiring phosphorus treatment at the start and end of the season. Ideal for retrofit installations using existing intercell piping infrastructure.
- Cell Equalization — Valve opened to equalize water levels between cells.
- Coagulant Dosing — Chemical dosing system injects coagulant into the pipe inlet.
- Mixing & Precipitation — Static mixer ensures thorough mixing; treated water flows to the secondary cell.
-
Sedimentation — Precipitated phosphorus settles to the
bottom of the secondary cell.
Continuous Flow
Year-Round Treatment
Optimized for lagoons requiring continuous phosphorus management. A flow meter enables precise proportional dosing based on real-time wastewater flow rate.
- Coagulant Dosing — Flow meter informs the PLC of precise dosing rate based on wastewater flow.
- Mixing Chamber — Coagulant-injected wastewater enters the mixing chamber for thorough contact.
- Precipitation — Conditioned water flows through the pipeline into the secondary cell.
- Sedimentation — Precipitated phosphorus settles at the bottom of the secondary cell.
